Ashley is a second year Industrial Design graduate student at Thomas Jefferson University. She has always been a maker and her background is in design and project management for television and live events.
Her own journey with multiple orthopedic surgeries inspired her to turn her design capabilities to patient experience and recovery. The recent Jefferson/PhilaU merger has put the spotlight on innovative pairings between design and medicine. As a result she has enjoyed cross disciplinary projects with medical professionals and is excited to continue this dialogue between healthcare and design.
Ashley holds a B.S. in fine art from Drew University. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, traveling and spending time with family.
